  1. Population and dissenters: My Lord, In this Parish there are about four Hundred and Twelve Families: of these about ninety four are Dissenters; viz, seventy five Presbyterian, six Anabaptist, eight resort to the Meeting-House commonly called the Arian; two families are Roman Catholicks, Two more reputed so, and one reputed Quaker. There is an Anabaptists Meeting House licens’d; the Teacher in it is Edmund Jones.

  2. Public or charity schools: My Lord, There is not any Publick or Charity School endow’d or otherwise maintain’d in this Parish.

  3. Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment: My Lord, there <were> about Forty years ago, Twelve or Thirteen Alms-Houses with Gardens belonging to them in this Parish which are now a waste Place. They were erected & supported out of an Estate which afterward was forfeited to the Crown one John Clapp has the direction of another Charity, which has not been paid for Thirty years. The man belongs to this Parish.

  4. Residence upon cure: My Lord, Dr Walker will Answer this Inquiry of your Lordship.

  5. Curate: My Lord, Dr Walker will satisfy your Lordship upon this Article.

  6. Divine service at other churches: My lord, I do not.

  7. Frequency of divine service: On every Lord’s day, Saint’s day, & every Tuesday and Friday. There are two Sermons preach’d every Sunday.

  8. Frequency of communion: My Lord, Twelve times in the year.

  9. Number of communicants: My Lord, There are about Two Hundred Communicants. Fourscore usually receive. At Easter last about six score Communicated. The wardens have never Receiv’d.

  10. Catechising of children: My Lord, every Tuesday, Friday, & Holyday in Lent. Few Servants are sent for Instruction.

  11. Chapels or chapels in ruins: My Lord, There are no Chapels within the Parish.
